Job Scope:

The Production Control Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Receiving and Shipping departments within our Creedmoor facility. They will supervise all activities of their assigned Team Members and work closely with the PC Manager to promote safety, quality, cost, and continuous improvement.
Education requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related discipline or an Associates degree and 5 years of related experience

Experience requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role relating to Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Production Control
Strong analytical abilities and effective written and verbal communication skills
Good relationship building skills
Computer skills ' Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Demonstrated Project Management skills
Demonstrated Leadership skills
Self-motivated, team oriented, and displays a positive approach towards change and flexibility in daily operations
Advanced knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes and procedures
Job Functions:
- Follow-up and investigate all incidents occurring in the receiving and shipping departments
- Lead the development and execution of corrective actions and promote a strong safety awareness/ conscious culture
- Monitor and control the movement of all raw materials and finished goods
- Work with the PC planning department to assist with inventory control through physical counts
- Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts
- Manage all material handling equipment and preventative maintenance schedules
- Train and lead floor leadership in order to meet company / department goals and objectives
- Work with vendors and consultants for support with various projects
- Lead and schedule cross-functional meetings between departments in order to meet targets
- Devise, communicate, and implement plans to obtain operational goals
- Other related duties as required
